Our Nature Walk through the Glen of the Lower Ballymacraven was filled with discoveries! The group was small but mighty, getting to work on clearing on some invasive cherry laurel along the river banks.
Tree bingo was a success, as all 9 tree species were easily spotted in this healthy riparian system. In the meantime, shield bugs, caterpillars and wonderful coral fungi were spotted by some of our volunteers.
The weather was kind, and the end of the event
was marked by a cup of tea at the Falls Hotel. Hope to see you at the next one!
